History
GIUPEL was founded in 2000 as a manufacturer of leather garments. The business grew quickly and focused on producing high-quality outerwear: down jackets, leather and faux leather garments, coats, fur and faux fur.
Working with the most important Italian and international companies has, over the years, built a wide range and a body of consolidated experience.
Territory
The head office is in Prato, an area with a long-standing textile tradition. It is a privileged position for anyone manufacturing clothing and working high-quality fabrics: the skills, the suppliers and the processes are all a few kilometres away.
It is also why the company is recognised as one of the most dynamic in the sector: being close to the district shortens lead times and makes it possible to keep a close eye on every step.
Artisanal tradition
Selecting materials, building the shoulder, mounting the padding, finishing: outerwear is made of steps you learn by standing next to the people who carry them out.
This is the part of the work that cannot be compressed. Trends change every season; the way you build a garment that hangs well and lasts changes far more slowly.
Manufacturing capacity
Direct production in Italy, at our own facility, covers both outerwear and total looks: following each stage closely is what keeps the quality consistent.
Alongside it are our own manufacturing facilities in China. They are what make it possible to meet any request: changes to models, development of new products, customisations of every kind.
