Privacy notice
This page describes how the personal data of people visiting the GIUPEL website, and of those who write to us through the contact form, is processed.
Data controller
The data controller is GIUPEL, Via Arezzo 15, 59100 Prato (PO), Italy, VAT number 01829810975.
For any request concerning personal data you may write to info@giupel.it or call +39 0574 36523.
What data we collect
Through the contact form we collect your name, email address, telephone number (optional) and the content of your message. This is the minimum needed in order to reply.
The site does not use profiling cookies, hosts no analytics tools and shares no data with advertising networks.
Why we process it
Data sent through the form is used solely to answer the enquiry and for any subsequent exchanges. The legal basis is the consent given when sending, together with pre-contractual measures requested by the data subject.
If the commercial communications consent is also ticked, the address may be used to send offers and promotions. That consent is separate, optional and can be withdrawn at any time.
How long we keep it
Messages received are kept for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any resulting commercial relationship, and in any case no longer than the periods set out by applicable law.
Who it may be shared with
Data is not disclosed publicly. It may be processed by authorised staff and by the technical suppliers running our email and website infrastructure, appointed as data processors.
Third-party services
The showroom map is provided by OpenStreetMap and is only loaded after an explicit click: until then, no connection is made to that service.
Links to the SimplyVee site lead to an external domain, with its own privacy notice.
Your rights
You may at any time request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and object to processing. You may also withdraw consent already given, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
If you believe the processing infringes the law, you may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
